Never bring burning material or embers close to your face, hair, skin, or clothing.

Crystals, tarot or oracle decks, ritual tools, jewelry, altar pieces, and other items that can safely tolerate smoke may be carefully passed through or held near the smoke.
Always make sure the object itself is safe for smoke and heat exposure.
